McKean County Recycling
Centers

Why Recycle?
- To be ecologically responsible as stewards of the Earth.
- To educate our children as role models.
- To afford McKean residents and municipalities cost diversion for waste
Keep it Clean!
- The recycling depots are a public service provided by the owners of McKean Landfill & Recycling Center, Rustick LLC.
- Each depot has an annual value of $9,000 but is a free community service
- Be responsible, keep it clean. Do not litter or place items that Rustick LLC. is not currently recycling in the bins – items NOT being recycled are glass, plastic bags, Styrofoam and your trash! These non-recyclables take extensive hours of costly labor to sort out and end up having loads rejected by end-markets.
- Prepare recyclables accordingly.
- Call Rustick LLC at (814) 778-9931 when bins are full.
- Report illegal dumping to Municipal Police.
