Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sheriff and the department employees execute court-issued writs, orders and decrees concerning lands and tenements and personal property. Other duties include mortgage foreclosures, serving of warrants, serving of domestic violence protection orders, handling of complaints and prison transports. This office provides security at the County Courthouse for all criminal court trials.
