Positive ID Required
PA Notary Public Law requires acceptable IDs to contain the following elements:
Current, government-issued identification card WITH Serial or Identification Number AND at least one of the following: photograph, physical description, signature.
Examples of preferable IDs include but are not limited to:
- PA Driver's License
- Military ID Card
- Government ID Card
- PA Non-Driver Photo ID
- Professional State License
- Current Passport
- Matricula Consular
- INS Alien Registration Card
