Duties and Responsibilities:
Voter Registration:
1. Voter registration
2. Assignment of all poll locations and poll workers
3. Accuracy of information
4. Maintain file of registered voters: initial application and all applicable and desired changes
5. Application process: applying in person mail-in applications public service state agencies PennDOT Licensing Centers
Reporting: voting and election process results to the Department of State- Elections, Commissions and Legislation Office

Secure election poll workers (approximately 170) and voting machine custodians
Facilitate training of poll workers prior to each election Elections:
1. Responsible for complete election process
2. Ballot preparation
3. Campaign finance
4. Notary service for candidates
5. Petition packets
6. Street lists of county registered voters
7. Absentee balloting
8. Committee contacts (party contacts)
9. Committeemen and committeewomen (elected party offices)
Reporting: voting and election process results to the Department of State- Elections, Commissions and Legislation Office

The Department of Voter Registration and Elections strives to provide every citizen of McKean County with an atmosphere of efficiency, security and confidentiality, assuring that each citizen gains a positive experience when participating in the voter registration and election process.

1. County Commissioners (Board of Elections) (daily)
2. Court of Common Pleas: Prothonotary Office, Judge's Office (2) (primary and general election time)
3. Commissioner's Chief Clerk
4. County maintenance custodians - equipment and supplies during elision time

1. All local county municipalities for voter and election processes (42)
2. Pennsylvania Department of State-Elections, Commissions and Legislation Office
3. PennDOT Licensing Centers (voter application process)
4. Public Service State Agencies (voter application process)
5. United States Postal Service (address confirmation)
